Cranberry Fruit Basket

2 cups boiling water
1 (6-ounce) package Jell-O Brand Cranberry Flavor Gelatin, or any red flavor
1 1/2 cups cold ginger ale, carbonated lemon-lime beverage or water
2 cups halved green and/or red seedless grapes
1 (11-ounce) can mandarin orange segments, drained
  1. Stir boiling water into gelatin in large bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir in cold ginger ale. Refrigerate about 1 1/2 hours or until thickened (spoon drawn through leaves definite impression).
  2. Stir in fruit. Spoon into 6-cup mold sprayed with cooking spray.
  3. Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm. Unmold. Store leftover dessert in refrigerator.
