Double Apple Ring

2 cups boiling water
1 (6-ounce) package Jell-O Brand Raspberry Flavor Gelatin
1/2 cup cold water
1 (16-ounce) jar applesauce
1 1/2 cups chopped apples
1 cup Jet-Puffed Miniature Marshmallows
1/2 cup sliced celery
1/4 cup chopped Planters Walnuts
Miracle Whip Dressing
Lettuce
  1. Stir boiling water into gelatin in large bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water. Refrigerate about 1 hour or until slightly thickened (consistency of unbeaten egg whites). Gently stir in applesauce. Pour into 4 1/2-cup ring mold sprayed with cooking spray. Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm.
  2. Mix apples, marshmallows, celery, nuts and enough salad dressing to moisten. Refrigerate.
  3. Unmold gelatin onto serving plate; surround with lettuce.
  4. Fill center with apple mixture. Store leftover gelatin mold in refrigerator.

Makes 8 servings.

Great Substitute:
Substitute 2 (3.25-ounce each) packages raspberry gelatin for 1 (6-ounce) package gelatin..

How To Unmold Gelatin:
Dip mold in warm water for about 15 seconds. Gently pull gelatin from around edges with moist fingers. Place moistened serving plate on top of mold. Invert mold and plate; Holding mold and plate together, shake slightly to loosen. Gently remove mold and center gelatin on plate.
