Dates and crushed pineapple
are combined to make an intriguing dipping or basting sauce for
your favorite skewers.
Tropical
Date Sauce
- 1 (8-ounce) can crushed
pineapple
1/4 cup chopped dates
4 teaspoons prepared mustard
- In an electric blender,
add pineapple, dates and prepared mustard, blend for 1 minute
and serve over grilled or poached fish fillets or as a dipping
sauce for grilled tofu skewers.
Makes 1 1/4 cups.
