with sautéed chopped green onions, diced green bell peppers
and chopped pimientos.

- 1 cup chopped green onions
1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 cups hot cooked brown rice* (cooked in beef broth)
3 tablespoons chopped pimientos
Dash ground black pepper
- Cook onions and green
pepper in oil until tender crisp. Add rice, pimientos and black
pepper. Toss lightly. Heat thoroughly.

*According to the USA Rice
Federation, 1 cup uncooked whole grain brown rice cooked in 2
1/4 cups liquid for 40 to 45 minutes will yield approximately
3 to 4 cups cooked rice.
