This is an easy corn dish.

Double Corn Casserole

2 (12-ounce) package STOUFFER'S® Corn Soufflé
4 cups water
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1 cup uncooked quick-cooking grits
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 cups (8 ounce) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
  1. THAW corn souffle in microwave at MEDIUM (50% power) 6 to 7 minutes.
  2. BRING 4 cups water and garlic salt to a boil in a large saucepan. Gradually add grits, stirring constantly, and return to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and cook 4 to 5 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat, and stir in butter and next 3 ingredients. Cool slightly, and stir in corn souffle. Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 11 x 7-inch baking dish.
  3. BAKE at 350° F for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Makes 8 servings.
