Grilled TV Dinner
Cubed beef steak, sliced onion, carrots, bell pepper, whole mushrooms and cream of mushroom soup are combined and sealed tightly in foil, and grilled until tender. Makes a great camp-out meal, too!
2 pounds round steak, cubed
1 onion, sliced
2 carrots, thickly sliced
1 green bell pepper, seeded and sliced
1 pound small whole mushrooms
1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
4 tablespoons butter
Heavy aluminum foil
1 (10.75-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1/2 cup water
- Divide cubed round steak, sliced onion, sliced carrots, sliced green bell pepper, mushrooms, chopped parsley, and butter among four large squares of heavy aluminum foil. Drizzle cream of mushroom soup diluted with water evenly among the packets. Fold up the edges and seal.
- Grill for 1 1/4 hours, or until the meat is tender.
- Serve in the aluminum foil "like a TV dinner".
Makes 4 servings.
