After a day of wintertime fun, warm up with a delicious nog of milk, light cream, maple syrup, cinnamon and allspice served hot in mugs topped with red cinnamon candies.
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups half-and-half
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
Cinnamon sticks or red cinnamon candies
- Combine first 5 ingredients in a saucepan. Stir over medium heat until heated through, do not boil.
- Pour into mugs. Garnish with a cinnamon stick or red hot cinnamon candies, if desired.
