Fruited White Cheesecake

Fruited White CheesecakeWhite chocolate makes this cheesecake special. Serve topped with your favorite seasonal fresh fruits or berries.

Recipe Ingredients:

1 (8-inch) chocolate or shortbread crumb crust
8 ounces NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Premier White Baking Bar, broken into small pieces
1 (8-ounce) package and 1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese, softened (11-ounces total)
3/4 cup sour cream
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups sliced fresh fruit or berries

Cooking Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Microwave baking bars in medium, microwave-safe bowl on MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) power for 1 minute; stir. Microwave at additional 10 to 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth; cool.
  3. Beat cream cheese in small mixer bowl until smooth. Beat in sour cream, egg and vanilla extract. Gradually beat in melted baking bars. Pour into crust.
  4. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until center is set. Cool completely on wire rack. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm. Garnish with fruit.
