Glazed Fresh Fruit
A light and simple, yet fabulous fruit dessert that makes the perfect ending to a heavy meal.
1/4 cup red currant or raspberry jelly
1 teaspoon orange flavored liqueur (or orange juice)
1 pint strawberries, sliced
1/2 cup raspberries
1/2 cup blueberries
4 tablespoons sweetened whipped cream (optional)
- Melt jelly in small saucepan; remove from heat and stir in liqueur. Cool slightly.
- Combine strawberries, raspberries and blueberries in bowl. Pour jelly mixture over fruit. Stir gently to coat, then spoon into dessert dishes. Top with whipped cream, if desired.
Makes 4 servings.
