This marinade works well with pork chops, as well as pork loin roasts and tenderloins.
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup dry sherry
1/2 cup minced onion
2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger root
2 teaspoons five-spice powder
2 tablespoons chile oil
2 teaspoons sesame oil
- In self-sealing bag, combine all ingredients. Add meat to bag, seal and refrigerate overnight. Discard any leftover marinade.
Makes about 1 1/4 cups.
