Potato Corn Patties with Cream Sauce
These are not your average, everyday potato patties.
1 (7.6-ounce) can NESTLÉ Media Crema
1 (2.29-ounce) packet MAGGI Creamy Corn Soup Mix - divided use
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup milk
1 pound russet potatoes, peeled and grated
1 (15-ounce) can corn kernels, drained
1/2 onion, finely chopped
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/4 cup vegetable oil
- Combine media crema, 2 tablespoons corn soup mix and parsley in small bowl; refrigerate.
- Mix milk and remaining soup mix in large bowl. Add potatoes, corn, onion, eggs and flour; mix well.
- Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Spoon potato-corn mixture into 2-inch-round patties into skillet. Cook for 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve warm with media crema sauce.
