Chicken Appetizer Spread
Serve this tasty chicken spread with an assortment of crackers and vegetable crudités.
2 whole chicken breasts, cooked, cooled, skinned and boned
1 cup walnuts
2/3 cup mayonnaise
2/3 cup sour cream
1/2 cup loosely packed fresh parsley sprigs
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 small onions, peeled and quartered
2 cloves garlic, peeled
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- Cut chicken into 1-inch chunks. Process all ingredients in food processor fitted with a metal blade.
- Turn into serving bowl, cover and chill 2 to 3 hours.
- Serve with crackers and vegetables crudités.
Makes 2 cups.
