No ordinary 'fudge brownies' here, these are made with crushed chocolate wafers, sweetened condensed milk, melted chocolate chips and nuts -- and, no baking required!
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
8 1/2 ounces chocolate wafers, crushed
1 cup chopped nuts
- Line an 8-inch square pan with aluminum foil; set aside.
- Using a double boiler, melt chocolate chips over simmering water, stirring until smooth. Stir in condensed milk, wafer crumbs and half of the nuts. Stir until blended.
- Press into prepared pan and press remaining nuts into the top.
- Let stand until set, 30 to 60 minutes. Cut into squares.
Makes 12 brownies.
