Smoothies are a great way to get a dose of fruit, fiber and good fats. This heart-smart beverage is loaded with antioxidants and full of flavor. Adding a little canola oil to it supplies omega 3 fats and vitamin E as well as a smoother taste.
1 medium banana
1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup strawberries
1/2 cup green tea, cooled
1/2 cup cranberry juice
4 ice cubes
2 teaspoons canola oil
- In blender, add all ingredients.
- Blend until combined and smooth. Serve immediately.
4 (1/2 cup) servings.
