Chicken Strips with Creamy Red Dip
Breaded and fried chicken strips served with a simple, creamy ketchup-flavored dip. Great for easy entertaining, too.
1 (7.6-ounce) can NESTLÉ Media Crema - divided use
1/2 cup ketchup
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, cut into 2 x 1/2-inch strips
3/4 cup plain bread crumbs
3 teaspoons MAGGI Granulated Chicken Flavor Bouillon
Vegetable oil for frying
- Mix 1/2 cup media crema and ketchup in small bowl; refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Place remaining 1/2 cup media crema in shallow plate; set aside. Combine bread crumbs and bouillon in small bowl. Working with 1 chicken strip at a time, dip in media crema, then dip in bread crumb mixture, coating well on all sides.
- Pour oil to 1-inch depth in large skillet; heat over medium-high heat. Cook 5 to 6 strips at a time (they should sizzle), turning once during cook time, for 5 to 7 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve strips with dipping sauce.
