Creamy Chicken Bake
This easy chicken and stuffing casserole will gather the family around the supper table by the aroma alone. Complete the meal with buttered green beans and a fruit salad.
8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
8 (4-inch) slices Swiss cheese
1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1/4 cup white wine
1 cup seasoned stuffing mix, crumbled
1/4 cup butter, melted
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Arrange the chicken in a lightly greased 13x9x2-inch baking dish. Top with Swiss cheese slices. Combine the soup and wine and mix well. Pour over the chicken. Top with stuffing mix crumbs and drizzle with butter.
- Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until chicken is done.
Makes 8 servings.
