Fiesta Chicken Pizza

Fiesta Chicken PizzaChewy pizza crust topped with tender strips of taco-seasoned chicken breast, Colby Jack cheese and salsa is an easy meal that will please your crowd.

Recipe Ingredients:

2 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, cut into strips
1 (12-inch) pre-baked pizza crust
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 (1.25-ounce) package ORTEGA Taco Seasoning Mix
1 tablespoon water
1 cup ORTEGA Salsa - Thick & Chunky
2 cups Colby Jack cheese
Suggested Toppings: sliced black olives, sliced green onions, guacamole, sour cream, taco sauce

Cooking Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Heat vegetable oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook for 4 to 5 minutes or until no longer pink. Add seasoning mix and water; mix well.
  3. Spread salsa over crust. Top with chicken mixture, cheese and vegetable toppings.
  4. Bake pizza for 10 to 12 minutes, or until crust is crisp and cheese is melted. Top with sour cream and a drizzle of taco sauce before serving.

Makes 4 (2 slice) servings.
