A simple recipe for honey baked chicken with great tasting results.
1 whole fryer chicken, cut into pieces
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup honey
1 tablespoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon salt
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 teaspoon curry powder
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place chicken pieces in a greased 13x9x2-inch baking pan, skin side up.
- Combine the melted butter, honey, mustard, salt, pepper and curry powder. Pour mixture over the chicken.
- Bake for 70 minutes, basting every 15 minutes with pan drippings, or until the chicken is nicely browned and the juices run clear.
