Lemon Coolers

No recipe image available.So easy, the kids can make these yummy, cake-mix based cookies—with some adult superversion, of course.

Recipe Ingredients:

1 (18.25-ounce) package lemon cake mix
1 (7-ounce) container whipped topping, thawed
1 large egg, slightly beaten
2 cups powdered sugar, sifted

Cooking Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together cake mix, whipped topping and egg.
  3. Drop by teaspoonfuls into bowl of powdered sugar and roll to coat; shaping into balls.
  4. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Do not brown.

Makes 3 dozen cookies.

Tip: Increase the lemony flavor of these cookies by adding the zest of 1 lemon, and/or 1/4 teaspoon lemon flavoring.
