Ground Pork with Mangoes
Exotic and delightful flavors! Cumin, oregano and sofrito paste dress up this ground pork and mango dish. Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro and serve over rice for an impressive main dish.
2 pounds lean ground pork or beef
1 (3.98-ounce) packet MAGGI Sofrito Seasoning Paste (tomato, garlic, onion)
2 MAGGI Beef Flavor Bouillon Tablets, crumbled
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 cups fresh cubed mango
Chopped fresh cilantro for garnish
Hot, cooked white rice for accompaniment
- Cook pork in large skillet over high heat, stirring frequently, until no longer pink. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in sofrito, bouillon, cumin and oregano. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add mango; reduce heat to low and cook for 2 minutes.
- Garnish with cilantro. Serve with hot cooked rice.
