Taco Chip Casserole
This fast and tasty taco casserole is ready to eat in about 30 minutes. Complete this simple meal with a green salad and your favorite beverage.
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 (1.25-ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 (12-ounce) package tortilla chips
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- In a skillet, brown ground beef; drain. Add tomato sauce, water and taco seasoning mix.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pour tortilla chips in a baking dish and mix with meat sauce. Top with cheddar cheese and bake for approximately 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Makes 6 servings.
