Easy Oat Crust

No recipe image available.This easy oat crust is perfect for cooked and fresh fruit, cream and pudding pie fillings.

Recipe Ingredients:

1 cup quick or old fashioned oats
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup butter, melted

Cooking Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly butter a 9-inch glass pie plate; set aside.
  2. In large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well.
  3. Press mixture evenly onto bottom and sides of prepared pie plate.
  4. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool.
  5. Fill cooled baked pie crust with desired filling.

Makes 1 (9-inch) pie crust.
