Turkey Medallions Piccata
A simple dish of sautéed turkey medallions sprinkled with fresh lemon juice and capers.
1 pound turkey, thinly sliced
Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
4 teaspoons capers
- Season sliced turkey with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a large, non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, sauté the turkey with the crushed garlic in olive oil and butter for approximately 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until golden and fully cooked. Remove the skillet from the heat and sprinkle the lemon juice and capers over the turkey.
Makes 4 servings.
