Q: What can I use as a substitute for evaporated milk?
A: If a recipe calls for undiluted evaporated milk,
then you can substitute with heavy or whipping cream. If the
recipe calls for diluting the canned milk with water in equal
parts, then fresh milk can be substituted equal to the amount
of the canned milk diluted with water.
