Lost recipe for Chocolate
Chip Peanut Butter Balls?
Q: Years ago when my kids were small I had a recipe
for chocolate chip peanut butter balls, they had condensed milk,
peanut butter, chocolate chips and powdered sugar. some sugar
went in them and you rolled them in the remaining sugar, no cooking.
I can't find the recipe or remember the amounts, can you help
me resurrect it for the grandkids?
A: I don't have an exact recipe for you, but I can
offer the following recipe which is very similar only it does
not have the sweetened condensed milk. They do have miniature
chocolate chips mixed within the peanut butter balls, but they
also are chocolate-dipped, a step which can be omitted, if desired.
Fact is, you could probably roll the balls in crushed rice cereal
for a healthier sweet treat.
