What type of flour is generally
used in recipes?
Q: Can you tell me if a recipe calls for flour, does
it mean self-rising or plain? Thanks, Sue Crenshaw
A: Hi Sue, Unless clearly specified as being self-rising
flour, all recipes at CooksRecipes.com (and elsewhere in the
U.S.) use all-purpose flour, or as it is known in Canada, the
UK and Australia---plain flour.
Enjoy the recipes,
