Apple Glazed Chicken Wings
Broiled chicken wings coated with a sweet glaze made with apple butter, molasses and ginger.
2 pounds chicken wings
1/2 cup apple butter
1/3 cup molasses
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- Prepare the wings by cutting off the tips and then cutting through the joint section to give 2 wing pieces.
- In medium bowl, stir together all ingredients for the marinade. Add the chicken wings and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
- Preheat the broiler.
- Line a broiler pan with aluminum foil and then set the wings in it.
- Broil for 15 to 20 minutes, turning the wings occasionally and brushing with marinade.
