Apples with Honey-Cream Cheese Dip

Apples with Honey-Cream Cheese DipCrisp slices of apple served with a honey-sweetened cream cheese dip flavored with a hint lemon zest. This makes a great fall party appetizer, as well as a healthy snack your kids are sure to love!

Recipe Ingredients:

1 Red Delicious apple, cored and chopped
1 Granny Smith apple, cored and chopped
1 Gala apple, cored and chopped
1 Golden Delicious apple, cored and chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Honey-Cream Cheese Dip:
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup honey
1 teaspoon freshly grated lemon zest
Ground pistachio nuts for garnish (optional)

Cooking Directions:

  1. In a shallow bowl, combine the apple slices and lemon juice to prevent browning.
  2. For Honey-Cream Cheese Dip: In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, honey and lemon zest until well blended. Garnish with ground pistachio nuts on top, if desired.
  3. To Serve: Arrange sliced apples on a platter and serve with Honey-Cream Cheese Dip.

Makes 4 servings.

Tip: If desired, simply use 4 of your favorite varieties of Washington apples.
