Take a favorite snacking cheese of both young and old, cut it up into chunks, add red cocktail sauce and you've got easy, cheesy cocktails.
18 ounces Wisconsin String cheese
1 1/2 cups red cocktail sauce
6 lettuce leaves
Thin lemon slices for garnish
- Cut Wisconsin String cheese into pieces, each approximately 2 1/2 inches long.
- Portion 1/4 cup red cocktail sauce into 6 serving containers.
- For each portion: Set filled serving container of red cocktail sauce on a lettuce leaf on plate. Arrange 6 pieces string cheese around container of cocktail sauce.
- If desired, garnish with thin lemon slices.
Makes 6 servings.
