Cheese Plate with Pineapple Salsa

Cheese Plate with Pineapple SalsaOffer your guests an assortment of cheeses such as havarti, muenster and fontina that pair well with this sweet and spicy pineapple salsa.

Recipe Ingredients:

1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
2 tablespoons sweet onion, finely diced
1/4 cup red pepper, diced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, peeled and grated
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon jalapeño, minced
1 teaspoon cilantro, chopped
Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
Wisconsin Cheeses such as Havarti, Muenster and Fontina

Cooking Directions:

  1. In small bowl, combine all ingredients except cheeses; mix well.
  2. Serve with semi-soft cheeses such as Wisconsin Havarti, Muenster and Fontina.

Makes 1 1/2 cups.
