Leave small bits of avocado unmashed for
a chunkier texture, if desired.
Guacamole
- 2 ripe avocados
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 3 tablespoons chopped tomato
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh cilantro
- Tabasco brand hot pepper sauce to taste
- Cut avocados in half and remove seeds.
Scoop out pulp and place in a bowl. Drizzle the pulp with lemon
juice and mash.
- Combine with remaining ingredients, mix
well, and serve with tortilla or corn chips or cut-up fresh vegetables.
Yield: About 2 1/2 cups.
