Half-Time Crab Dip
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 (6-ounce) can crab meat, drained, flaked and cartilage removed (see Cook's Note)
- 1/4 cup slice green onion
- 1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 1 teaspoon curry powder, or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Assorted crackers and/or chips
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and milk until smooth. Stir in the crab, onions, red pepper, curry powder, salt and garlic powder. Refrigerate until serving time.
- Serve with crackers and/or chips.
Makes 3 cups.
Cook's Note: Of course, if you have access to fresh, by all means go for it! Or if you need to economize, try substituting with 1 (8-ounce) package imitation flaked crab meat.
