A little dry sherry combined
with cream cheese and camembert or brie cheese is stuffed into
cored apples which are chilled for several hours and then sliced
into wedges to serve.

Apples
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream
cheese, softened
2 ounces Wisconsin Camembert or Brie cheese, cut up
1 tablespoon dry sherry
6 large apples
- Combine cheeses and sherry;
mix until well-blended.
- Core apples to 1 inch
diameter; fill with cheese mixture.
- Chill several hours.
- Just before serving, slice
each apple into 6 wedges.
Makes 12 servings.
Variation: Substitute 1/2
cup (2 ounces) crumbled Wisconsin Blue cheese for Camembert or
Brie.
