Nachos Fiesta Cheese Dip

Nachos Fiesta Cheese DipServe this spicy cheese dip warm with tortilla or corn chips.

Recipe Ingredients:

2 1/4 cups (18 ounces) Wisconsin Jalapeño Cheddar Cold Pack cheese
1/2 cup milk, heated
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/4 cup sweet green peppers, chopped
1/4 cup sweet red peppers, chopped
1/4 cup scallions (green onions), chopped
Fresh chopped cilantro for garnish (optional)
Tortilla chips for accompaniment

Cooking Directions:

  1. Melt cheese over low heat. Gradually stir in milk and chili powder. Heat, but do not boil.
  2. Add red and green peppers, and scallions, mixing well.
  3. Serve dip warm with tortilla chips. If desired, garnish with cilantro.

Makes 6 servings.

Tip: Wisconsin Sharp Cheddar Cold Pack Cheese plus 1/2 cup drained, minced, pickled jalapeño peppers can be substituted for the Wisconsin Jalapeño Cheddar Cold Pack cheese.
