This recipe proves you
don't need a packet of soup mix to make onion dip.
Onion
Dip
- 2 tablespoons vegetable
oil
2 medium onions, chopped
2 tablespoons dry red wine
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 teaspoons MAGGI Seasoning Sauce
Chopped fresh cilantro or parsley
- Heat oil in medium skillet
over medium heat. Add onions; cook, stirring occasionally, until
tender and golden. Add wine; cook for 2 minutes. Remove from
heat.
- Mix sour cream, mayonnaise,
seasoning sauce and cooked onions in medium bowl. Garnish with
cilantro. Serve with crackers and vegetables.
Makes 2 cups.
