Spiced Nuts

1 large egg white
2 tablespoons water
3 to 4 cups nuts (such as pecans, almonds or walnuts)
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  1. Preheat oven to 250*F (120*C).
  2. Beat egg white with water. Add nuts and stir until moist. Drain.
  3. Combine dry ingredients, mixing well. Add nuts and stir until coated. Spread nuts on lightly greased baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool completely before storing in airtight container.
