Caramel Rocky Road Bars.

Milk chocolate chips, caramel ice cream topping and salty peanuts makes one memorable treat!

Caramel Rocky Road Bars

1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup quick oats
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter softened
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup salted peanuts - divided use
1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping
1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
1/2 cup NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Milk Chocolate Morsels
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
  2. Combine flour, oats, sugar, butter, baking soda and salt in a large mixing bowl until crumbly. Stir in 1/4 cup chopped peanuts. Reserve 3/4 cup crumb mixture. Press remaining crumb mixture onto bottom of prepared baking pan.
  3. Bake for 12 to 17 minutes or until lightly browned. Spread caramel topping evenly over hot crust. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup peanuts, marshmallows and morsels. Top with reserved crumb mixture.
  4. Bake for an additional 20 to 25 minutes or until topping is lightly browned. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm. Cut into bars.

Makes 24 bars.
