Choco-Peanut Nutter Butter Bars
- 1 (19.9-ounce) package fudge brownie mix
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup butter OR margarine, softened
1 large egg
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
3 tablespoons light corn syrup
1/2 cup peanuts, chopped
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- Combine fudge brownie mix, water, softened butter, and egg; beating until just mixed. Spread the batter into a greased 9-inch baking pan.
- Heat creamy peanut butter and drop by teaspoonfuls onto the batter. Swirl with light corn syrup. Sprinkle chopped peanuts and semisweet chocolate chips on top.
- Bake at 350*F for 20 to 25 minutes. Swirl the melted topping together then set on a wire rack to cool.
Makes 18 bars.
