Speedy and easy thanks to a package of devil's food cake mix, these yummy chocolate cookie bars have a sweet peanut butter and marshmallow filling and a chocolate crumb topping.

Speedy Little Devil Bars

1/2 cup butter, chilled
1 (18.25-ounce) package devil's food cake mix
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1 (7-ounce) jar marshmallow creme
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Using an electric mixer, mix butter into cake mix until pea-size crumbs form, about 3 minutes. Remove 1 1/2 cups and set aside. Spread remaining crumbs in the bottom of an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan. Gently press crumbs into pan covering the entire surface.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine peanut butter and marshmallow creme; mix well.
  4. In small batches, spread peanut butter mixture over entire surface of crumbs. Top with reserved crumbs. Bake for 20 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.

Makes 16 bars.
