Triple Layer Chocolate Bars
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup unsweetened baking cocoa, divided use
1/3 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup chopped nuts
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, half of the cocoa, sugar and butter; press firmly into the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together condensed milk, flour, the remaining half of the cocoa, egg, vanilla and baking powder. Stir in nuts. Spread evenly over prepared crust; top with chocolate chips.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until set. Cool before cutting into bars.
Makes 24 bars.
