Beef Skewers
Sirloin steak beef cubes are marinated in an Asian-style marinade, threaded on bambo skewers and broiled to perfection.
Recipe Ingredients:
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 garlic clove, crushed
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon sesame seed
2 green onions, chopped
1 pound sirloin steak, cubed
20 bamboo skewers
Cooking Directions:
- In a loaf pan, combine soy sauce, lemon juice, sugar, crushed garlic clove, ginger, oil, sesame seed, and finely chopped green onions.
- Thread diced sirloin steak on bamboo skewers. Place the skewered meat in the marinade; turning to coat all sides. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours. Drain and discard marinade.
- Arrange on a broiler pan and broil 5 to 8-inches from the heat. Broil for about 2 minutes; turn and cook 1 minute longer, or until done.
Makes 8 servings.
