Beef top loin steak is marinated in white wine, soy sauce, garlic, lime juice, brown sugar, chopped green onion and black pepper overnight and then broiled to perfection.

Broiled Marinated Beef Top Loin

1/2 cup white wine
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 garlic cloves, crushed
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 pound top loin (sirloin) steak
  1. Stir together white wine, soy sauce, crushed garlic cloves, lime juice, brown sugar, chopped green onions, and pepper. Place sirloin steak in a dish. Pour the marinade on top, cover, and refrigerate overnight, turning 2 or 3 times.
  2. Preheat broiler.
  3. Drain and then broil for approximately 10 minutes on each side for medium rare.

Makes 4 servings.
