Beef steaks are marinated in an herb and red wine marinade overnight and grilled to desired doneness the next day.
1 cup dry red wine
1 onion, chopped
1 tablespoon chopped flat-leaf parsley
1 bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1 garlic clove, crushed
2 pounds steaks
- Combine red wine, chopped onion, chopped parsley, bay leaf, salt, thyme, and crushed garlic clove; mixing well. Pour into a shallow dish and add steak. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
- Grill steaks for 8 to 9 minutes on each side, or until done.
