Sherried Beef Casserole
A good recipe to also try in your crock pot. Have dinner almost ready as soon as you enter the door.
2 pounds beef steak, sliced
1 packet dry onion soup mix
1 cup cooking sherry
1 (10.75-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
Cooked noodles for accompaniment
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a medium casserole dish, combine beef strips, dry onion soup mix, sherry and cream of mushroom soup.
- Bake for 3 hours.
- To serve, spoon the beef mixture on top of noodles.
Makes 6 servings.
