Toss serving-size pieces
of beef round steak, chopped onion, cream of mushroom soup, dry
onion soup mix and a little water into your slow cooker in the
morning and come home to a delicious steak with gravy dinner
just waiting for you to serve over hot rice or buttered noodles.
Slow-Cooked
Steak and Gravy
- Approximately 3 pounds
round steak
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 onion, chopped
1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom
1 package dry onion soup mix
1/4 cup water
- Hot cooked rice or buttered
noodles
- Cut round steak into serving
sizes. Sprinkle the meat with garlic powder and pepper.
- Place meat in a slow-cooker
or crockpot and add onion, mushroom soup, soup mix and water.
Cook on low 6 to 8 hours.
- Serve hot over cooked
rice or buttered noodles.
