Three-Fruit Sangria

No recipe image available.Orange, lemon and lime juices are combined with sugar, heated to dissolve, chilled and then combined with Burgundy and cognac for this refreshing sangria.

Recipe Ingredients:

Juice of 1 large orange
Juice of 2 large lemons
Juice of 2 large limes
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 (750-ml) bottle Burgundy or dry red wine
1/3 cup cognac

Cooking Directions:

  1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves, stirring constantly; cool.
  2. Combine juice mixture, wine and cognac; chill beverage thoroughly.

Makes 5 (1-cup) servings.
