
If you are a fan of the
Chai tea derived from India, you will love this recipe and appreciate
how quickly it comes together. Serve hot or cold depending on
your mood or the weather.
Chai
Tea
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup Unsweetened NESTEA
Iced Tea Concentrate
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 8 whole cloves
- 4 black peppercorns
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- Combine water, milk, Nestea
concentrate, sugar, cinnamon, cloves, peppercorns and cardamom
in medium saucepan. Heat over medium heat just until boiling;
reduce heat to low. Simmer for 5 minutes. Strain and serve hot
or cold.
Makes 4 servings.
Tip: For Chocolate Chai
Tea: Stir 3 tablespoons NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Baking Cocoa
into hot chai tea mixture until combined.
