Creamy Fruit Smoothie
Dry milk adds texture and protein without fat or a lot of calories to this version of a fruit smoothie. Try this easy concoction with your favorite fruit.
3 cups fruit, fresh, frozen, unsweetened or canned (drained)
2/3 cup NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Nonfat Dry Milk
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup ice cubes
2 tablespoons granulated sugar, (optional)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Place all ingredients in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.
Makes 4 cups.
- Use fruits such as strawberries, blackberries, bananas, kiwi, peaches or cherries.
- For a tropical taste sensation, follow directions using a mixture of mango, papaya and pineapple to make up 3 cups fruit.
