
The mint julep is a classic cocktail most
commonly thought of as the drink of the Kentucky Derby.
Mint
Julep
- 3 to 5 mint leaves
1 teaspoon powdered sugar
2 teaspoons water
2 to 2 1/2 ounces Woodford Reserve Bourbon
- To a glass add mint, powdered
sugar, and water, then muddle.
- Add 2-21/2 ounces of Woodford
Reserve Bourbon and top with crushed ice.
Makes 1 serving.
