This recipe shows there's
more you can do with those cute little pastel pillow mints than
simply pop 'em in your mouth or fill the candy dishes at wedding
and baby showers. Add five to a cup of milk with some instant
chocolate malted powder, heat until hot and you've got a quick
and easy, hot cup of yum.
Minted
Malted Milk
- 3/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons chocolate instant malted milk powder
5 pastel pillow mints
- Stovetop Directions: In
a small saucepan combine the milk, chocolate malted milk powder,
and mints. Cook and stir over medium heat about 4 minutes or
until the mixture is hot.
- Microwave Directions:
In a microwave-safe mug stir together the milk and chocolate
malted milk powder. Stir in mints. Microwave, uncovered, on high
for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 minutes or until hot. Stir again before serving.
Makes 1 serving. (Recipe
can be increased, as desired.)
